Meet Bacchi

Bacchi, formerly known as Diablo, is back in the program again. She is more fit and has lost weight. She is currently being ridden by one of our middle school students at the walk and trot. She has begun to do poles and cavalettis in our ring. Our student is having a great time with Bacchi. She has quick forward gaits but in the right hands can collect and extend. Bacchi loves attention and loves being groomed. She is used to being out and about.

Bacchi is a mule - horse mother and donkey father. She is pony size, about 13.2hh, and so can handle heavier riders than a horse of comparable size. Bacchi has unique markings, zebra stripes on her legs and a long dun stripe down her back that goes into her beautiful long tail. She is friendly and brave and gets along well with all of the other horses.

Bacchi is an ideal 4-H or pony club project mule. She needs an intermediate rider over 100 pounds. She currently does walk and trot and we are working on her canter. Bacchi is great fun to be with and to ride.
