Meet Misty
Misty is the best known pony in our group. She has given many, many children their first ride. She is a terrific lead line pony and is safe and reliable enough to let more experienced children ride independently in a small pen. Once she starts to work she knows her job, ignoring barking dogs, running children and other distractions. As we have worked with her she has developed perfect transitions on the lead line. Her trot is just bouncy enough to help students in lead line lessons get their first experience with the posting trot. This summer we discovered that she can be very obliging to her riders when they sit up straight and keep their hands and legs in the proper position. She is dependable enough to allow some more experienced lead line riders to ride off the line.

Misty does pony rides, lead line lessons and birthday parties. She works for hours without complaint. She is gentle enough to allow children to lead her in the ring. Besides being a favorite of our human friends she is also a favorite with all of the other ponies. Everyone seems to love Misty.
Misty is usually called a Welsh/Cob cross but we think she has a very "draft pony" look and looks very much like a Scottish Highland pony.
One person said that Misty is every little girl's dream pony, dapple grey, 12 hands high, gentle and marvelous blue eyes.
