Christine acquired Nigel in 2003 from a student of hers
that was moving out of state and could not take him with her. The 13 yr old
palomino pony was a bit of a trouble maker at the time and went to Rivers Edge
Farm for some training and work as a school pony. The older kids found him to
be a blast and the younger ones found him very challenging. Once he had more
mileage under his belt he moved to Wedgewood Stables to be her family horse
where he met Sera and Jubilee. When that farm closed they all moved together to
Pleasant View Stables. Nigel seems very happy to be back at the Mooreland Equestrian Center and knew where he was as soon as he trotted off the trailer. Now Nigel is still the family horse, taking her kids for
rides around the property or down the street. You can often see Christine
riding him in the local neighborhood. A great all purpose pony who is great for
walk trot lessons, jumping lessons and going to shows. He is also learning how
to drive a cart. Nigel is a pony with just enough of an attitude to teach you
how to do it right, but a solid disposition to keep beginner riders safe.
