Our staff has the experience and the knowledge to help you or your child become a successful horse person. We stress safety and fun and work to help each student achieve their own goals at their own pace.
Marie Aparo
Marie is a lesson instructor who specializes in riders with disabilities.Marie is certified as a therapeutic riding instructor and also teaches therapeutic riding at Manes N Motion in Middletown, CT. Marie grew up riding at the farm and is happy to be back in her very special capacity at our farm.

Elaine Sisson
Elaine does the Junior Lessons and Pony Rides and Events. Elaine has 4 children, 3 boys ages 22 through 32 and her daughter age 13. She also became a proud grandmother of two very beautifull little girls. Elaine has been involved with horses for the past 8 years. She brings her own experiences learning about horses and riding along with the experience of friends and her own instructors. Elaine has completed graduate work in early childhood education.

Christine Lentz
Christine is a private lesson instructor and our lesson program director. Christine has a lifetime of experience with horses both as an instructor and a student. Christine has a BS from Johnson and Wales in Equine Management with a minor in Secondary Education. She was a member of the Johnson and Wales Intercollegiate Team for 4 years and served as the team coach from 1989 to 1991. Christine has been a barn manager at several barns in both Florida and Connecticut. She has been an instructor since 1988 and has been an instructor at River's Edge Farm in Bethany, CT since 1996.
